I’m so happy you’re here

Life can feel overwhelming—filled with stress, uncertainty, and those big, scary transitions that seem to never stop. Maybe you're dealing with anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling unsure about who you are or what your next steps should be. It can be really tough to find someone who truly gets it—someone who understands what you're going through without judgment or assumptions. That’s where I come in. I specialize in creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you work through these challenges. Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or just feeling lost, I’m here to walk alongside you. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, which is why I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and deeply focused on helping you get back to feeling like you—with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

In addition to my work with individuals navigating everyday struggles, I have extensive experience supporting those on the autism spectrum and with other neurodevelopmental disorders. Autism has gained a lot of attention over the past few years, and with the overwhelming amount of information out there, it can be hard to feel truly understood. My mission is to make you feel seen, supported, and heard—creating a neuroaffirming environment where you can work through these challenges without confusion or judgment. If you're looking to improve social communication, build emotional regulation skills, or better navigate relationships, I offer practical, neurodiversity-affirming therapy. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths and create strategies that work for you.

I work with adults & teens seeking support in areas such as:

  • Anxiety & Depression

  • Relationship Struggles

  • Grief & Loss

  • Body Image & Self-Worth

  • Feeling Lost or Unfulfilled

  • Overwhelm & Burnout

  • Chronic Overthinking & Limiting Beliefs

  • Work Stress & Low Self-Esteem

  • Uncertainty About Life Purpose or Desires

Call me Hales!

I earned my undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Citadel. During my clinical training, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of therapeutic settings, including the Medical University of South Carolina, where I provided care to individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. My clinical experience includes working with adults facing depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and significant life stressors, as well as individuals on the autism spectrum and those with other neurodevelopmental conditions.

I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse clients and am passionate about creating a therapeutic environment that is flexible, inclusive, and attuned to individual needs. At the same time, my training and background allow me to work effectively with clients from all walks of life. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, and I strive to meet each client where they are—offering support as they process emotions, navigate transitions, and move toward personal growth and meaningful change.

This is a safe and welcoming space for individuals of all genders, backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and communities. Here, diversity is not only respected but celebrated. I invite you to show up fully and authentically—without fear of judgment—as we work together toward greater understanding, self-compassion, and healing.
